It's that time of year again: the annual "largest on the west coast" Portland Auto Swap Meet. This year, I'm going to visit the companion swap meet next door at PIR on Thursday too.
I'm getting a room on North Interstate Ave where I can hop on Max (light rail) a half-block away and have me delivered right to the meet, instead of the usual nightmare of parking and shuttle buses.
Whatever happens to the phone line, server, database, whatever while I'm gone, is going to stay that way until Sunday night. In years past, there was only one year when it went down right after I left, but I suspect this year it's going to go down and stay down. Plan accordingly . . .
