LD28 Head, intake, plenum gaskets

Buy it, sell it, negotiate, haggle, drag it out from under the workbench or behind the garage and make it someone else's problem!

LD28 Head, intake, plenum gaskets

Through my FLAPS, I ordered and received these gaskets/gaskets sets. I will re-sell them to whomever needs them, should you be unable to find them in your area. I cannot promise I can get more of these, or at this price. These are new, shrink-wrapped, not old stock (at least they don't have that old stock look, and no yellowing).

--------------------------------------------------------
Head Gasket only, Fel-Pro 8960B (presumably for 0 and 3 notch) applications. Retail is $107, I paid (63 + tax of 5.50 = $69), sell for $75

NAPA lists this gasket for $72, if you can get it.

Check out this Amazon link to this gasket for $35. If available, that's a very good price.
--------------------------------------------------------
Head Gasket only, Fel-Pro 8957B (explicitly labelled for 1 and 2 notch) applications. Retail is $107, I paid (63 + tax of 5.50 = $69), sell for $75

NAPA also lists this gasket for $72.
--------------------------------------------------------
Intake manifold gasket set, Victor Reinz MS16052. Includes the intake/exhaust gasket, and a separate plenum gasket. My FLAPS lost money by eating the freight on this one, since I also purchased a couple hundred dollars of paint at the same time, so I got it cheaper than usual: I paid $12, sell for $18.

--------------------------------------------------------
I bought these up because they appear to be some of the last in my supply chain out here. My markup just covers my time. Shipping is additional, and they have to go in a decent box, or they arrived bent (BTDT).

I have over the years bought at least one and possibly two head sets for the LD28, not well known brands and one I recall came in a squished box with the head gasket bent. If someone needs the whole head set in an emergency, I would sell one or both of those. I'll have to see what I paid for them to give a price, but it was certainly much less than new replacement cost.

Should I look for more head gasket sets w/o head gasket? Any interest?

wish I knew about these last year. I had to hunt and hunt for one. Got the head gasket and exhaust/intake from Car Quest of all places! They were in some dirty wrapping but worked.
