I'm driving south to LA and will be in your area on 23-Dec (Thursday), and 28-Dec (Wed) coming back north. If I were to win this auction, would I be able to pick it up in person on one of those dates?

If'n I could get this for $20, it'd be nice to get rid of the original one, that somehow got a bunch of white house paint spilled on it (and the rear carpet, for that matter. Hey, Dan (3rd owner of my wagon), what's the story with this white paint?)

Not at all, if I wouldn't have been lazy I would have done it. As it is I think someone here should have that item. My bumper is in decent shape, the reveal trim that attaches to it next to the tailgate is discolored somewhat but I certainly don't need that puppy.

For some reason this year has produced a bunch of unusual "clearance" items for this model, as well as others. I have a feeling that we're witnessing a period of "cleaning" where shops that have old inventory or old merch that wasn't sold are deciding to move it, or shops that have folded are being liquidated by companies like Auctionfrontier etc. I could be wrong though too...

The story I got when I called them for directions is that a (defunct?) Nissan dealership (?) donated parts to Lane Co. Community College, which kept stuff they could use and gave the rest to the seller, which is Springfield Auto Recycling, I think -- sounds like a junkyard to me.

I will probably be blowing through town after-hours, so I doubt I'll be able to see much, it'll be dark and raining and I'll be boogeying for home seven hours north of there, in prep for working the next day.

Well, for a change I arrived between rain gusts (the weather on the drive north was horrible, and that was before the latest flooding). I got there about 3pm and now have the new bumper cover. No box, it was gone before I got there, but it was pretty much trashed anyway.
