I've been hoping to run across something more substantial but apparently there isn't anything out there. Maybe this is all that was ever made..don't know.

I don't know if it's a good choice, but there aren't a lot of options. There simply isn't much to work with. Valley makes good stuff, and the price is certainly right. But I would want to haul a very limited load with a bumper hitch. Say, a small utility trailer.

We haul a small boat around to fish the backwater with. Would not want to bid against anyone if you guys want it. I don't have a running Maxima at this point.

18 hrs to closing, no bids. I'd say that there's little interest. Buy it. You will want to be circumspect about what and how you pull though. Small boat -- do you think we're talking like 800-1000 lbs?

I would buy it but I don't know how confident I am of this setup. I would probably add a steel plate from one bumper mount to the other that attaches to this and provides reinforcement. Also, it says 4 door, so I assume that excludes the wagon?

Yup, the Wagon and Sedan bumpers are different.

I've had a similar "kit" installed on my Wagon, in 1999 by a shop (I was lazy; they bid a good price for installation and all), and it doesn't look anything like that one, though it's still a bumper-mount.
