LD20II Camshaft replacement and alignment

Hi Guys,

I am in Haiti, we don't have access to ebay or specialized bookstores. I have a friend/mechanic who is replacing the camshaft from my LD20II, we need badly to get the procedures right to do it. Can someone please send us some light...steps and procedures with pictures would be much appreciated.

I've got some information, but it's for the LD20, not the LD20II, and I suspect that there are some major differences. I'll let you decide for yourself. I'll post a link soon -- probably tomorrow.

I thought I had another manual that covers the LD20, but I can't seem to lay my hands upon it right now.

Thank you for your prompt reply however there is one major difference, the engine is a LD 20II it comes with a timing belt instead of the chain. Can you please keep looking for the right manual. I appreciate it very much.

I do recall that the other manual (if I still own it) clearly says, "chain-drive OHC LD series diesel" or very similar, so it wouldn't cover your LD20II. I am sorry that I cannot help you with this.
