WTB: SD22 Cylinder Head

I need a cylinder head for a 1983 SD22.

Willing to pay $175 plus freight to North Carolina for head in good condition.

I have an '82 SD22 head (from the "Vashon Truck").

That engine broke No. 2 wrist pin and there was a broken rocker arm on that cylinder, so I assume that at least one of the valves on No. 2 are bent: assume they both are, and you'd be safe.

Bare head + valves + springs + retainers (ie no manifolds, no rocker arm assy., no injectors, no GPs: all those except the rocker assy are available, however), as-is: $90 + shipping -- this price includes building a custom wooden crate for it. I will clean off the valves area and make certain there is not obvious surface cracks.

I also have an SD22 head gasket, if you need one.

For a 1983, make sure you have an SD22 and not an SD25; both were offered in 1983 in the 720 PUs (if you are working on a 720).

What is the situation that your old head cannot be rebuilt?

Other leads: http://www.car-part.com lists an SD22 head in SC for $250, and one in WA for $100.
