Parting out Diesel Maxi Wagon - Aspers, PA

Buy it, sell it, negotiate, haggle, drag it out from under the workbench or behind the garage and make it someone else's problem!

Just got an email from him.
Looks like a road trip now. He's about 4 hours from me.
If it's an 83 with the O/D I might take it also.
I didn't receive a response from him yet, don't know the situation. Did you get down to look at the car? I'm interested in some of the GP system components, especially the timer.

thx

You know, I read both of those as "PCV", and thought you were asking for the hose on the valve cover :?

Yeah, I could, but I've got the local carpet store saving me a cardboard core now.

Got the doors and the front bumper.
Picked up the drive shaft also. It's one he had made in Colorado
when his original broke awhile back.
One piece with NO carrier bearing.
U-joints seem good with no binding or drag.
Grease fittings are on both also.
If interested send me your address and I'll send some pics.

Didn't read the posts before I left so didn't ask or check on
the GPC. Sorry.

I tried telling Billy to become a member here on the site, but he wasn't interested. I know he really doesn't have much left of Maximas and diesel parts, but I thought his knowledge would be nice to have here being another member. I mean he did convert a gas Maxima totally over to a diesel 5-speed and he knows the LD28 well.

Bill still has a lot of Maxima parts to sell. He asked me to make mention of that fact here.

His email is: billyboyprice1@hotmail.com

Here is the last email I got from him...

Hi Matt
Thanks for your helpful information, I would greatly appreciate ,if you
get a chance when you are on the computor and on that website and let them
know about my car and and my Email address/
The car now has many missing parts, like the 2 front doors and front bumper
and drive shaft .It does have a good block and cylinder head and other
engine parts and good 3 speed trans ,complete diesel station wagon wiring
harness (1982) 2 like new sedan rear struts with springs, sedan rear
differential and station wagon leaf spring rear, glow plug timers (3) of
them, 2 injector pumps (1 is not pumping right) the other was running before
the wagon sat and it sat for about 6 or 7 years , plus more I have not been
able to find my extra injectors, but I will keep looking and save them for
you, I did find 2 of them ,but I know I have 4 or 6 more somewhere in my
shop or in the car. It is ok with me if you want to give out my email
address on that website and give out the information about the car, I hate
to scrape that car as there so many usable parts,PArts for those cars are
getting hard to find. I will try to keep the car for about 2 or 3 weeks as I
will have to move it out before the rain comes or it will just get stuck in
the mud and I will have to wait till the freeze comes to move it out.
Thanks for all of your help
Bill
