Seen the ad for a 1980 Scout II, 4wd, 4spd,runs and drives, but needs some work.........$2800 Is this a good price? It's the first one I've seen advertised around here.....

Rust is the No. 1 problem of the Scout. If it passes the rust test . . .

1980 is a good year for the diesel Scout II, because it has a factory turbo added.

Is it worth $2800? See what this Minnesota Scout diesel just sold for on eBay.

Worth is what you are willing to pay. I'm no expert, so I can't comment.
