Hi all, does anyboby know the part number for the stop solenoid on the LD28 Diesel Kiki injection pump?

Fuel Cut Solenoid, 16870-V2100, US$127 + shipping

You might pull yours (if you have one that's malfunctioning) and replace the o-ring on the end. If it leaks, I think that the engine will not shut off.

That o-ring is Nissan part No. 16872-V0701, but Nismoparts says that's an invalid number. It's probably a std metric size.

If, OTOH, you're suspecting yours is bad because it does not make an audible "click" when 12v is applied, I think I'd look hard at a used solenoid from a vintage VW Rabbit (Golf) or similar. I'd bet that that particular solenoid is interchangeable.

Dang, I have no idea, and I don't have a spare IP laying about to pull the number off a used one. Perhaps someone reading this does.
