i am needing the code on the side of the ld28 injection pump that is PExxxxxxxxx i am needing this info to see if i can use the pump in a custom project thank you for time in advance

The stock LD28 IP already supplies more fuel than can be used with the stock breathing.
To get more power, a turbo is needed. See this post and most of the rest of the thread for info on how to add a turbo inexpensively to an LD28.
Once you've added a turbo and added more air to the combustion chamber, to get more power you need to then add more fuel. To do that, a boost aneroid compensation device ("LDA") needs to be added to the top of the IP. See this post for a cutaway on that device. If you try to turn up the IP delivery rate instead of using a boost controller LDA, you'll have lots of smoke and increased EGTs -- not good.
See this post for info on having the LD28 IP modified (by a professional) to accommodate the LDA from a different VE-style IP that has a turbo (ie the Volvo/Volkswagen turbodiesel Six). Swapping out the top over and retaining the LD28's throttle shaft etc. might be able to be done by an adroit home mechanic.
I do not know if the LDA and IP top cover from a VE-style Four cylinder IP will fit to the LD28's IP housing.

thank you again i had read 2 of the post before what i am more after is if the ld28 can handle 20+ of boost i would like to build a small car diesel with some serious power if the ld28 can not handle that kind of boost i may just build a mercedes om603 or om617 diesel as for the ip i was wanting to know what size the plungers where it looks like 10mm for it i was hoping it was an inline pump hence the asking for the pexxxxxxx code thanks

The Inline IPs won't rev -- well, they'll rev but are inaccurate at high speeds. The LD28 is a high-speed diesel and runs smoothly at above 4,000 RPM. The OM617 does not.
I don't know whether the IP used on the LD28 has a 9mm, 10mm, or 11mm plunger, I've never been into one that far. I'm reasonably certain that the plunger and distributor head from any other 6-cylinder VE-style IP would be a bolt-on.
Whether you can reliably push 20 lbs boost is a whole 'nuther issue. The LD28 is not a B-series Cummins. You'll need better pistons to do that much boost. I may be wrong, but I don't think the LD has under-piston oil squirters, and lacking those the heat can't be shed fast enough.
Stick with 7 lbs or less (light-pressure turbo), keep the fueling reasonable, and I think it will hold up. But if you need a reliable 160 HP 2.8l Six, when it was designed for 80 HP, look for a different engine. It's a good mill, but not that good.
