WTB/Needed- Working Injection Pump

Buy it, sell it, negotiate, haggle, drag it out from under the workbench or behind the garage and make it someone else's problem!

WTB/Needed- Working Injection Pump

#1

Post by ZeroDignity »

Had an injection pump problem, took it out to my local shop, they told me it was beyond repair.

Now I'm in the market for a new/used/refurbished/functioning IP.

My car is a Early 1981 Nissan Maxima LD28.

If you have a pump, Pm me or post here I'm sure we can work something out.

I can do payment with PayPal quickly.

It's been nine months, but I just saw this.

There are two brand-new IPs here for sale.

I have one, for $900 (see this ad), and someone else has one for $1000 (see this ad).

I'd sure like mine out of my livingroom ;)

The VE-style IPs do wear out, primarily the lift pump section, but last time I checked they were entirely replaceable with new parts, as the style of IP was used for decades in many different diesels.

If someone runs enough SVO or WVO though one, though, the distributor head gets toasted as well, and that would probably make it beyond economical repair.

Al S.
