1983 LD28 stuff for sale
Hey Guys...

Oil pump

a bunch of heavy brackets
valve cover
connecting rods w/ pistons
Injection pump is probably spoken for and includes the pump and fuel lines.
Carimbo: in 3 days I will go to the next guy if I don't hear back from you about the injection pump.

I bought a 1983 LD28(118,000 miles) a while back and sold off the crank, oil pan/pickup, and timing cover. The entire fuel pump system is available minus the drive belt. $75
the block is available(PERFECT bores) $50
The rods are available with pistons still attached(bearings looked NEW upon removal) $75
The head is perfect. $75
I also have the timing gear which is in decent shape. $10?
Exhaust manifold $20
The oil base thingy $30
Valve cover $15
Or make me an offer.
Take the whole lot for $225
Stuff will get junked if not gone by the new year.

Where are you located?
Location is important due to shipping cost of heavier items. Items that are prohibitively expensive to ship (head, block) can suddenly become valuable if a prospective buyer is close enough to pick them up.

I'd like to put my name on the list for the fuel injection system if Carimbo and all other interested parties fall through. In other words, don't scrap the fuel injection. I will buy it if no one else does. Same goes for the main V belt pulley on the crank. If I thought I'd be down in Georgia anytime soon, I'd probably take it all, but storage space, time, and money are all finite (for me).

Asavage: I can do $50 shipped for all that stuff. I'll have to look for the little pully but I know that I have it.
I haven't heard back from the first two with dibs on the injection system so I'll keep it around for y'all whenever you can get back to me.
It's holidays so I'll keep some stuff around.
I discovered that the LD28 head weighs more than an inline 6, N42, 280Z engine block! Good grief!!
Goglio, Your base hasn't shipped yet but I have all day tomorrow free so I can wait and combine shipping with the IP (if you end up getting it) or go ahead and ship it.

Go ahead and ship the base. We'll wait and see what sorts out on the injection pump. I hate to jump in front of anybody, but I am serious about buying it rather than the scrapper getting it.

Some feedback and followup. I received the oil filter base today. It was well packed and arrived in good shape. There was a delay, but it was very understandable and olderthanme kept me informed.

In a couple weeks I may be coming up to the Knoxville area so if you want any of it and can meet me somewhere I can load it into my truck.
$150 for the whole lot. Block, head, timing gear, IP, pully, valve cover, exhaust manifold, IP and all the hardware that came off the motor.
