Except for different porting, it looks like a bolt in replacement for the Maxima? I want one, but I don't want to undermine your bulk deal Al.

Oh, I don't need them, Matt. I don't think that (after shipping) they are all that great of a price, bought individually, but if you could buy two or three and amortize the shipping, they're a good deal.
Again, I do not need them. I was just stating that if nobody else bought them, I would approach Norm about them. You are not undermining.
I bought 2 of them. I best offered him, and he accepted. He either didn't update the auction, or he had more than 5 available. As a matter of fact, I installed one of the filters today and discovered that the newer base has a seal around the center stud, where the Maxima base does not have either a seal or a provision for a seal. I only installed the element, but if the hoses had been longer in the car, I'd have put the whole thing in. Also, the Nissan element is about 1.5" longer than the Wix I had in there.

I knew the Wix was shorter. Mark has an old Wix and an old Nissan fuel filter, and I've been planning to bandsaw both apart and take a pic side-by-side, but Mark hasn't gotten them over here yet.
