Hello all, new owner of a Chrysler-Nissan SD22PU engine here.
Just acquired a Chicago Pnuematic CP185 air compressor with an SD22 Nissan diesel installed. This is a Chrysler CN4-33 variant.
Have been trying to get it running and am thinking it may need a new lift pump. It is a mechanical diaphragm-type pump with an inverted glass fuel separator bowl, as pictured.
Was wondering if anyone had any idea where I might source this pump or even a rebuild kit for it? I can provide any other info if you need it.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I am not familiar with this part, it might take some time to get a response, you could try asking a forklift business or a diesel injection service place, they see all sorts of stuff.
I know the voices are not real,
but they have some really good ideas.

Re: Greetings and an SD22 Lift Pump ?
I have spoken with a local diesel injection service and a place that specializes in foreign gas and diesel engine repair in general. I will see what I can find out from a forklift service.
The injection service told me the injector pump (Nihon-Cav brand) was looking for 3-7 psi on the diesel supply line from the lift pump.
My plan is to find a complete OEM-type replacement mechanical lift pump or a rebuild kit for it...if I can't find that to convert to a low pressure electric fuel pump to replace the mechanical one.
Thank you for your reply waynosworld.
